CHICKEN

Fowl (Gallus Gallus domesticus) were used to maintain the birds to be used for living purposes pemeliharanya. Fowl (hereinafter referred to as "chicken" anyway) is a direct descendant of one jungle fowl subspecies known as the red jungle fowl (Gallus Gallus) or chicken bangkiwa (bankiva fowl). Intercross chicken races have produced hundreds of superior strains or pure lines with a variety of functions, the most common are chicken pieces (to cut) and laying hens (for eggs retrieved). Chickens can also be used to cross with intercrossed close relatives, the green jungle fowl, which produces the male sterile hybrid known as chicken bekisar.
With a population of more than 24 billion in 2003, Firefly's Bird Encyclopaedia states there are more chickens in the world than other birds. Chicken supplies two sources of protein in food: chicken meat and eggs.
Biology and habitat
Domesticated fowl originating from the red jungle fowl (chicken bangkiwa, Gallus Gallus) who live in India. However, molecular testing showed possible genetic contribution of G. sonneratii, because of the red jungle fowl does not possess yellow skin that became a feature of domesticated chickens.
Chickens showed morphological differences between the two types of sex (sexual dimorphism). Rooster (rooster, rooster) is more attractive, larger in size, has a long spur, berjengger larger, and the long tail feathers dangle. Hen (hen, hen) is relatively small, small, short spur or barely visible, small berjengger, and short tail feathers. System is regulated by sex hormones. In the event of interference with the physiological function of the body, the hen can change sex to male because adult chicken ovotestis still have a dormant and can be active at any time.
As pets, chickens are able to follow where the man took him. These animals are very adaptive and can be said to live just anywhere, as long as there is food for him. Because most pet chickens have lost the ability to fly well, they spend less time on the ground or sometimes in trees.
Small chicken occasionally preyed upon by birds of prey, like hawks.Chicken eggs. The rooster is crowing in the morning.Various kinds
